Based in Cairns for twenty three years, I began working in film and television in 1982 with TCN 9 Sydney. Freelance since 1992, I am a member of the Australian Screen Sound Guild and have been nominated for Prime-time Emmy awards in 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2009.
In 2011-12 I’ve recorded in Samoa, New Zealand, the Philippines, Tasmania, the Torres Strait and in Far North Queensland. For more information on my sound recording history please check out my credits list.
My Sound kit includes Sennheiser, Schoeps, Sanken and Countryman microphones, Audio Ltd and Lectrosonics radio mics, IFB's and stereo camera links, Sound Devices 788T /Cl 8 combo and 744T hard disc recorders, Sound Devices 442 and 302 mixers plus many accessories.
